Odoo allows you to upload bank statements in a variety of complex file formats. Go to the module's dashboard to import the bank statement. Select your bank from the Overview area and click the 'Import statement' option as shown below.

Select the Import statement option from the three buttons adjacent to the Bank section, and a tab will emerge with the formats in which you can upload the bank statements, as shown below.


Select the files using the SELECT FILES button, then use the UPLOAD button to upload the statements to Odoo.

A new import widget will appear, as seen below, allowing you to customize the file you want to import.


You can use the Formatting options to format the file, as well as Map the columns to import the files. To conveniently handle the statements, select and adjust the options. After you've finished configuring the file, click the TEST button to test the settings. The configured files will be imported when you click the IMPORT button.

Manual Method

You can manually enter the bank statements into Odoo if you prefer the manual technique. To do so, navigate to BANK in your Accounting module's Overview dashboard. Click on the dots to the side of the section and select Statements from the options under NEW, as shown below.

Configuration and setup

Odoo makes it simple to synchronize your bank account. Go to the Accounting module and select Add a bank account from the configuration section. This will open a configuration tab with a list of banks to which you may add your account, as shown below.

If the bank you're looking for isn't listed, click the Create It option to add it to Odoo.

Enter the name of your bank in the Bank section and then click the Create and Edit button. This will lead you to a configuration tab where you may set your new bank as shown below.

Configure the Bank and save it to your Odoo database by clicking the SAVE button. Odoo may be connected with your bank and import all of your bank statements after the configurations are completed. The Journals will be automatically synchronized every 12 hours after the initial sync with the bank, which aids in real-time data management. If you want to synchronize journals that are older than 12 hours, you can do so by clicking the Synchronize Now button on the Accounting module's dashboard, as shown below.

The Bank portion of the module's dashboard provides real-time information on the synchronization process. To instantly synchronize, click on the section or block. You can also navigate to the Dashboard's Settings tab and pick Online Synchronization, which will send you to a configuration pane like the one below.
