How To Create A Project In Odoo Project in Odoo 13
The Odoo Project manages and tracks each task, assign them effectively, while maintaining track of the other tasks, and improving productivity. Odoo Project Management is the process of organizing, preparing, implementing, managing, and closing.
The main task, Project of Management, is to complete the project goals
within the specific conditions and regulations.
How to Create with Odoo Project Module
Step 1: Create A ProjectFor Tutorial Purposes, The Project Name " Test 1"
Access the Project Module or App
Click on Create.
Fill in the required information.
Click Create again.
The New Project is created. Now you need to assign Tasks.
The project you have created does not contain any tasks.
In order to add tasks, click on "Add a Column".
If you don't know how to organize the columns After clicking on Add Column, click on "See examples". You will see "Kaban examples", for each type of project you want to create.
Create a New Task
Click on the "+" icon, or click Create
Add the Task Title and the person you want to Assign, you can edit the Task later on by clicking on the 3 dots, on the top right corner.
Click Add.
Now Go to Your Project Dashboard.
You will see the Newly Created Project, with the tasks beneath it.
To access the tasks for any project, click on the tasks below the Project name.
Step 2 Create Tasks:
You can create Tasks by either:
Click "Create" > Add the content you want > Click "Add".
OR
Click "+" > Add the content you want > click "Add".
The end result should look similar to one of the tasks in the picture.
If you have completed the task, click on the circle, located next to the specified employee.
When you click on it you will have 2 options,"Ready for the next stage", and Blocked.
Ready for the next stage,
shows to others that the next step is ready to start.Blocked, means someone is stuck or hasn't completed the task.
Note: Why can't I spot "Overview"?
If you don't spot "Overview", it's because you need to download the Sales App. All the Apps in Odoo have connected automatically to your uploaded data. Sometimes you will need to download additional applications in order to receive the result you want. When You Install The Sales App Overview Will appear.
Click on "Overview".
You can see the "Timesheet" cost and additional information, related to the services you provide to your clients.
By clicking on "Create Invoice", you will be able to create an invoice for the project you have completed.
However, in order to do so, you will need to download the Odoo Accounting App, from Odoo Apps on your database.
