Odoo 15 Accounting Module Taxes

To set up taxes in the Odoo 15 Accounting module, navigate to the Configurations page on the module's Dashboard. From the drop-down option, select Taxes. As illustrated below, a page containing a list of previously produced Taxes will appear.

This is where all of the Created Taxes will be listed. Click the Establish button to create a new Tax. A setup screen will appear, as shown below, where you can configure the new Tax.

The first step is to input the tax's name in the Tax Name area and then select a tax type from the drop-down menu of Sales, Purchase, or None.

You can pick how to compute the tax in the tax competition area. The Tax Scope option allows you to limit the taxes to a certain category of products or services. All of the prices you use on the product will be covered by the Included Price choices, and invoices will include this tax. You might choose to include the cost of analysis. You have the option of using the Affect Base of subsequent taxes or not. In this situation, the taxes will be calculated based on the inclusion of price tags. After that, select a country and press the SAVE button.

Impose Taxes on Goods

Individual products can be taxed using the Odoo 15 Accounting module. The functionality is fairly simple to set up. To handle the advanced feature, go to the module and click on it. To set up this functionality, navigate to the Accounting Module's Dashboard and select the Product tab. You may easily manage product pricing by applying numerous taxes to the products.
To set up taxes for a product, go to the Customer Tab on the module's Dashboard and select Product. As illustrated below, a page will appear with all of your products listed.

You can use this page to build, administer, and have complex setups for your items. To configure the tax on an existing product, click on the product you want to configure, or click the CREATE button if the product is new. When you click on the Product you wish to configure, a product tab will appear, as shown below, where you can configure the product.

The Customer Taxes field in the setup tab, as noted in the image above, allows you to add Customer Taxes. Add the taxes from the Drop-down list of taxes by clicking on the Field adjacent to the Customer Tax choices. If the tax is not accessible, click the Start typing option from the list, and a create and edit button will appear, as shown below, to specify the new tax.

To make a new Tax, click the Create and Edit option. As demonstrated below, a setup tab will appear.


To continue, click the SAVE & CLOSE button after completing the configurations. After you've configured the Tax, you'll be able to add it to your product. To have the module easily, you may handle the advanced feature. After you've finished configuring the product, click the SAVE button in the main screen to save your settings. As stated below, taxes will be automatically added to the Customer invoice in relation to the product.

The same can be said for Sales Orders. The tax will be applied automatically, but if you want to alter it, click on the Tax and select the Tax from the drop-down list of taxes. You can configure a default Sales tax and Purchase tax in the Odoo 15 Accounting module. If you don't offer distinct taxes for the products, the tax will be applied automatically when you apply a default tax. Under the Configuration Tab, go to Settings and select Settings from the drop down menu, which will take you to the Accounting module's Settings page, as seen below.

To configure the new Tax, go to the Tax setting page, as shown below.

After you've finished configuring the Tax, click the SAVE button to save it. You have complete control over the Default taxes. You can also establish Default Taxes for Products.
