Odoo Timesheets Module

Odoo provides a number of modules that can be used to monitor and manage tasks and employee time. The Odoo Project module will help you manage your projects effectively. The Odoo Projects module makes scheduling and allocating projects and activities within these projects a gentle breeze. With a few clicks, we can build new projects, add tasks, and prioritize the tasks and projects. The timesheet module is an add-on to this module that allows you to monitor employee time spent on different tasks.

For both time and budget management, an employer must monitor the time spent by their employees on assigned tasks. The timesheet is a record of the employee's time spent on assigned tasks over a specified period of time. Tasks, programs, staff members, or clients can all be used to create this data table. The module can be used to time the various assignments and tasks created in Odoo projects. When designing Projects, we must allow the timesheet functionality. This enables us to log time and monitor it on the project's timesheet. We must also enable billable in order to invoice customers for time and materials.

After you've allowed these options, select the project's customer. We can now switch to the tab for invoicing. We may choose a specific customer to invoice the tasks to from this menu. We can generate a selling order this way, and the price will be set at the employee rate. Now we can link the timesheets of the employees who can be billed for the project.

Save the changes, then create a sales order and invoice the customer for the timesheet. 
Keeping track of timesheets 
We may add a new line to the Odoo timesheet to monitor and track the time spent on different tasks and projects.

Select a project and a task, then assign each to a specific employee. We can also save the task after entering the time spent on it. 
With the start button, we can start a project or a task, and the time spent on that task or project will be registered. 
Managers would be able to see all of their workers' timesheets by going to timesheets>all timesheets. From the pivot view or the list view, the manager will export all employees' timesheets as a spreadsheet.

The validate menu allows a manager to validate an employee's timesheet. We can validate all timesheets for all under-managed workers, or we can filter the employees and validate only selected timesheets.

        - A timesheet for each employee can be found under-reporting -> by the employee. For the month, week, or any filter array, a brief description of employee time is displayed. 
        - Timesheet reporting focused on projects can be interpreted as under-reporting -> by the project. 
        - A task-based timesheet tracks how much time is spent on each project's individual tasks. 
        - Timesheets by billing form would show the amount of time spent on billable and nonbillable activities, as well as the amount of time spent. 
        From reporting > timesheet/attendance, we can evaluate the total timesheet, total attendance, and total difference.

        We can install the timesheet app on your devices and sync it with the server to monitor and track your billable hours from anywhere. The software app operates on all platforms and can also be used offline. When performing a mission, the time is recorded and synced with the system until we are online.
